One cornerstone of becoming an effective leader is to understand and value differences. It’s important to know who you are as a person – how your brain works, how you’re hard-wired on the inside, and how you come across to others. It’s equally important to understand how others are different from you, and to know how to adapt to the way they communicate, how they think, how they make decisions, and what enables them to do their best work.
We use 2 well-known and widely used tools for understanding and appreciating human differences: The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and The Birkman Method. We have Leadership Training programs based on both tools. We also use them extensively when we do Leadership Coaching and Team Building.
